Pharrell Williams & Helen Lasichanh Welcome TRIPLETS
Hip, hip, hooray! Hip, hip, hooray! Hip, hip, hooray! 3 huge cheers for Pharrell Williams and Helen Lasichanh as the happy couple just welcomed triplets, Pharrell’s rep confirmed to Vanity Fair today.
The babies’ names or sexes are still being kept under wraps, but the star’s representative did say Helen and the children are “healthy and happy.”
Nobody Knew They Were Expecting Triplets
The lucky duo shared the good news back in September 2016 when Lasichanh revealed her baby bump at a Chanel-hosted dinner to celebrate their new fragrance N°5 L’EAU, but they apparently decided to keep the triplets news for themselves.
Pharrell and Helen have been married since 2013 and they already have an 8-year-old son, Rocket Williams.
Back in 2014, Pharrell spoke with Oprah Winfrey about how Rocket got his name:
“In the same way the Indians named their children after a force or animal or element,” he said, ”we named him after a man-made machine that was meant to go up, meant to ascend.”
Work, Work, Work
Young father is going to be rather busy in the months to come.
Pharrell is expected to attend the 2017 Oscars, since “Hidden Figures”, a movie based on a true story, is nominated for Best Picture award, alongside Arrival, Fences, Hacksaw Ridge, Hell or High Water, La La Land, Lion, Manchester by the Sea and Moonlight.
The musician produced the movie with Peter Chernin, Donna Gigliotti, Theodore Melfi and Jenno Topping.
We hope he won’t be away on business to for long though… triplets need thrice the care!
