Ryan Gosling And Eva Mendes Kept Their Pregnancy A Secret

It was probably one of the biggest secrets in Hollywood, but Ryan and Eva managed to keep the pregnancy away from the public eye for seven months.

How did they do it for such a long time? Well, they simply laid low for a while and kept things under the radar.

“Eva just hasn’t ever wanted anyone beyond her close friends and family knowing more than they had to. And Ryan is certainly private, and always has been,” an insider told ‘People’ magazine.

However, the couple who has been dating since September 2011, still hasn’t officially confirmed the pregnancy.

The two appear to be enjoying their life together in Ryan’s Studio City apartment preparing for the September/October arrival of their firstborn child.

“Their lives completely changed as soon as Eva got pregnant,” the source stated.

“They used to travel all over the place together and go on hikes with their dogs. But in recent months, Eva has barely left the house. Ryan has been taking care of her, picking up food and running errands. He has been very supportive about keeping things a secret.”

If we rewind a little bit, we will realize that Eva’s last public appearance was back in March, when she attended a fashion launch. At the time she would have been pregnant for two months and she hasn’t appeared in public since.

The future mother was mysteriously absent from the premiere of the couple’s new movie “Lost River” at the Cannes Film Festival in May.
