Ryan Reynolds Is Eager To Become A Dad – ‘Excited About Having A Buddy’

Ryan Reynolds has yet again opened up about his upcoming fatherhood. The Green Lantern star has stated that he is pretty excited about becoming a father for the first time and that coming from a big family has prepared him for all the aspects of being a parent, even the nasty ones.

I’ve done it all before

Ryan mentioned that he has a lot of nieces and nephews, and this has apparently played an important role when it comes to preparing for all the parenting adventures that lay ahead.

“I don’t have a weak stomach. I’m good with diapers and all that kind of stuff because I have lots of nieces and nephews, so I’ve done it all before and I’m just excited about having a buddy,” 38-year-old actor said.

“We don’t know if it’s a boy or a girl yet, but whatever it is, you have this tether to reality that never goes away.”

Blake has always been a mom

As for the future mom, 27-year-old Blake Lively has also expressed her sentiments and excitement when talking about the new baby, and as she comes from a big family as well, the two are pretty much set for their future roles.

“I came from a big family, a big family of Southerners. I’m the youngest of five, so I never raised any siblings below me, but I’m always the person who’s taking everyone else’s kid and putting them on my hip, so I’ve kinda always been a mama,” the Gossip Girl actress explained.

The couple married in an intimate ceremony back in 2012 and they currently live a quiet life in upstate New York while preparing for the by far the most important role of their careers.
