Scarlett Johansson On Newfound Motherhood – ‘It’s Wonderful’

Scarlett gave birth to her first child in September and has now finally spoken about her new role of being a mom and that special bond she has with her newborn daughter Rose Dorothy.

Both Magical & Exhausting

The actress has opened up about the newfound motherhood and the Lucy star didn’t hold her excitement, however, she also admitted the new role is kind of exhausting as well.

“It’s wonderful. It’s very, very magical and… exhausting. The love is just unbelievable. It’s very overwhelming,” the 30-year-old star stated for People.

Though Scarlett is still learning the ropes, she doesn’t seem to mind the diaper duty and late-night feeds. “I do the whole bit. I’m nursing and I love it.”

Private Wedding

Scarlett and her new husband, Romain, are extremely private when it comes to their relationship. The two secretly tied the knot in October, and the details of their wedding didn’t surface until two months later.

The couple, who was reported to first started dating back in November 2012, married in a low profile ceremony. The wedding happened on a ranch in Montana, far away from the curious eyes of Hollywood.

Scarlett and Romain were most recently seen at the IFP’s 24th Gotham Independent Film Awards in New York. The new mum dazzled the on-lookers in her black sequined mini dress, while flashed her new diamond wedding band.
