Shakira Is Expecting A Baby Boy

Speculation that the famous Columbian pop star was expecting for the second time surfaced when she was spotted wearing looser clothing and appeared to be concealing a tiny baby bump underneath her shirt, but now it is official – Shakira and Barcelona star Gerard Pique are about to welcome another baby boy.

“Yes, we are expecting our second baby!! Thank you all for your well wishes!” Shakira wrote via her Twitter account thus informing 27million of her followers.

Perfect playmate

Shakira’s parents, on the other hand, Nidia Ripoll and William Mebarak Chadid have recently spilled the beans to the HOLA! News about the gender of the upcoming bundle of joy.

“We’re very happy. She’s having another baby boy, a playmate for Milan. We don’t know anything about names yet,” said Shakira’s parents.

Shakira and Gerard welcomed their first son Milan in January 2013, and it’s been four years since the two have been together.

The couple is clearly enjoying their parenthood and Shakira is obviously infatuated with being a mom, since the Columbian star is almost daily updating her fans about Milan’s development by posting photos on Twitter.

The Waka Waka singer has recently explained how her son has completely changed the way she looks at life.

“Everything is different. Maybe the biggest change is that I think about the future more, what the world will be like for him when he grows up,” Shakira admitted.
