The two were first introduced as a possible couple at the ‘White House Correspondents Dinner’ in May, but their fling was marked as a mere speculation, since Sofia was still formally dating her fiancé Nick Loeb at that time. However, it appears that the speculations were indeed true, and now Hollywood officially has a new hot couple.

Two months after the dinner and their relationship seems to have bloomed in a right direction.

“It’s very, very new. They’re having fun and getting to know each other,” a source confirmed to ‘Us Weekly’.

Sofia was filming her new movie “Don’t Mess With Texas” with her co-star Reese Witherspoon, and the True Blood actor ‘smitten with the Modern Family beauty’ travelled all the way to New Orleans to visit her for the 4 July holidays.

The two lovebirds were spotted having dinner together at the “Li’l Dizzy’s Café” on Sunday. The eyewitness confirms they were “very friendly and took pictures with other diners.” During the meal, “They held each other and kissed several times”.

“Sofia is Joe’s dream girl. He’s been smitten with her for years. He’s always had a huge crush on her. Things are going well for them so far,” an insider told ‘Us Weekly.’

Joe himself has recently admitted that Sofia was his dream girl and that she makes him do things he wouldn’t imagine doing for anyone else. “She’s gonna get me in trouble. I don’t want to be like a home-wrecker. This person is engaged,” he said about the actress, who split from Nick Loeb this May.

However, Joe seems to have forgotten the moral issues he talked about after all, and Sofia’s curvy body is to blame.

“She’s got the curves, she’s got a beautiful face, beautiful hair, just gorgeous. Naturally beautiful. She’s just feisty,” he admitted his weakness to ‘People’ magazine.

Well, we can’t really blame him, now can we?
