Sofia Vergara is Single!

Sofia Vergara has become one of the most popular overnight sensations in the history of television. From a relatively obscure actress to one of the cornerstones of TV’s wittiest television shows, Vergara has it all. Maybe Sofia realizes this, because word broke that she has split from her fiance, Nick Loeb. Sofia decided to let the cat out of the bag on her own terms and took to her social media presence on WhoSay to reveal the split.
Sofia writes that she and Nick had been having doubts for the past year. In an attempt to circumvent the gossip blogs and rumor mills, Vergara wrote that she wanted to “tell fans personally that Nick and I have decided to be apart.” She expounded by saying that they had been having issues and their lack of free time together was a big part in their splitting up. Nick himself has gotten busier with his own business and Vergara claims that the relationship is “not fun anymore.”

Sources close to Sofia and Nick reportedly saw the split coming. According to an anonymous source, Nick and Sofia were “always on rocky grounds” with the problems only being exacerbated by the bombshells sudden superstardom. According to the same source the couple lacked a “normal relationship” and could barely get a few moments together.

The news of their split still comes as a shock due to the fact that as recently as February, Sofia was still planning their wedding! On a taping of the Ellen DeGeneres show, Sofia spoke about how she was going to plan her dream wedding with Nick. She’s also been very public about their attempting to have a child together. Sofia has spoken to “Vogue” as well as publicly on her social media accounts about her usage of hormone pills and injections and even her consultations with a fertility doctor.
Nick and Sofia have always been a sort of odd couple. They had split once in their past and reports were constantly coming out that Nick was not good to Sofia. With Vergara’s sudden stardom, can we really be surprised that she is ready to move on?
