Tila Tequila: ‘I’m Pregnant!’

Reality TV show hottie Tila Tequila is taking a new role—mommy? That’s right, the notorious wild child of music and screen is expecting her first child. Tequila took to Facebook on 4/19/14 to show off her new baby bump.

“Surprise!! I’m 10 weeks pregnant!” Miss Tila gushed. With a history like hers, this does come as a bit of a surprise. The 32 year old will be adding first-time mom to her resume that includes Playboy, reality TV superstar with A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila (and A Shot at Love 2 with Tila Tequila), author, managing her own online empire, and a music career with such hits as Stripper Friends and I F**ked the DJ.

She is unabashedly bi-sexual and her outspoken advocacy has put her on the wrong side of conservative groups. Tila has had a bit of a rough few years romantically. In 2009, her then boyfriend Shawne Merriman, who was with the San Diego Chargers at the time, allegedly attacked and restrained her. In late 2009, she announced her engagement to Johnson and Johnson heiress Casey Johnson. That relationship ended tragically in early 2010 when Johnson died suddenly due to uncontrolled Type 1 diabetes.

In March of 2012, Tila checked herself in to rehab after apparently “almost dying” from a drug overdose. Her party days had been well-documented through her time on the screen. Her overdose on pills caused her to spend some time in the hospital due to a brain aneurysm.

Since then, Tequila has taken on a bit of a change of attitude and personality. Earlier this year, she debuted her new Twitter name @BabyMamaTila. She then tweeted: “I had to disappear for a while to get my act together and enjoy my newfound happiness with sober living!”

No word yet on who the father could be. One thing is for sure; her fans are sending nothing but good vibes for the new mama and her offspring. Her selfies with the baby bump show her healthy, glowing, and happy and that is good for everyone.
