Is Zooey Deschanel Really Expecting Her First Child?

Should we say “congratulations” or “surprise?” Looks like the New Girl is going to have a new baby with her new man!

Although they have only been dating for six months, actress and Hollywood’s sweetheart Zooey Deschanel and her boyfriend Jacob Pechenik are going to be parents.

The 34-year-old blue eyed actress revealed herself on Tuesday that she’s already pregnant with her first child with her boyfriend: “Jacob and I are over the moon. We are so excited to meet our little one.”

However, the baby who is due this summer will not be the only newcomer in the family. Zooey’s older sister Emily, who is well-known for her role on the extremely popular TV series Bones, is expecting her second child with husband, actor David Hornsby.

So, who is the man who stole Zooey’s heart and uterus? Jacob Pechenik is a producer. He and Zooey met while working together on her new movie Rock The Kasbah, about a washed-up American music manager who discovers a girl with an amazing voice in Afghanistan. Deschanel is starring alongside Bruce Willis and Kate Hudson. Pechenik is also known for producing 2013’s Devil’s Knot and 2014’s She’s Funny That Way.

The couple was first seen together in August, walking hand in hand and showing some serious PDA in Venice Beach, California. They attended the 66th Emmy Awards together, where Jacob kissed the Yes Man actress on the red carpet.
